This makes me happy

After O falls asleep I always go in and check to make sure he's all covered up for the night. More often than not, he's not covered and he's sleeping all curled up in a fetal position with his butt in the air. It makes me smile every time because it's the same way he prefered to sleep when he was tiny.

2 months

Almost 2 years

**** Just so I don't get hate mail about letting him sleep on his belly at 2 months, I only ever did it at nap time when he slept in the living room, around me at all times. Never at night... I know, back is best to avoid SIDS. He just wouldn't sleep on his back at nap time for some reason. ****

Isn't it amazing how fast it goes by? I wish there was a way to slow time down...

i am one of those kids that sleep with bums in the air..lol

i find, once a baby decide on what is comfy with sleep position, they hardly ever change that. Ben wasnt a back sleeper kind, he is the belly/side sleeper baby and have always been since he was young and now at almost 3, it never changed. Ava is a back sleeper.

Hello there up north :)

I randomly stumbled upon your blog today. I know this sounds pretty strange, but I like to learn about new places/people/ideas since I'm out of school and working full time and chasing a toddler full time... I rarely get any time to feed my desire for learning. So I try to find new places/people/things to read about and found your blog from the 'Nunies blog website.
I live in Texas USA, a completely different world from the one you blog about, and have very much enjoyed reading your blog!!

I just wanted to comment and say your children are lovely, and I also got some flack for letting my son sleep on his belly during naps when he was tiny. I always put him on his back to sleep but if he was fussy and cranky he would always throw himself over onto his stomach. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes!!

Anyway I have to say this is probably the strangest comment I've ever left on somebodys blog, but I felt like some kind of intruder or weird voyeur for not introducing myself, so hello!

Well, Welcome Meagan! Thanks for the comment. I'm glad that you're enjoying reading and learning about a different part of the world. I know how isolating being a at home mom can be. Thanks for 'blog stalking' me and I hope you continue. I'll do my best to bring you new information. Cheers!
