Livable... but that's about it.

Livable. That's how I'm describing my house at the moment. After a long a stressful week of packing, moving, unpacking, not knowing where my stuff is, babies that keep waking in the middle of the night, etc, etc. I decided that livable was enough till Monday. We worked really hard on Thursday and Friday to get the absolute necessities in life unpacked and in the places where they would live, at least for the time being. Those things being food, kitchen stuff, clothes and Oliver and Tank's toys. Doesn't sound like much but when the movers don't label anything it can take a while to go through 156 boxes to find it all. We sorted the 'still to be sorted' boxes into the spare room and the sealift room and I will set a goal to get through one or two every day till they're dealt with. I'm taking the weekend off and just living as best we can in the chaos.

Oliver hasn't been dealing well with the move which has been making everything just that much more difficult. He hasn't slept through the night since we got here... ok it's only been 3 nights but it's just not like him to do that. He's been up early every morning and for the most part has been needy and whiney unless he's in some one's arms. Sure makes it difficult to get anything done. He even threw his first full on temper tantrum today because I wouldn't give him the vitamin bottle he wanted to play with. He doesn't seem to get that no means no and screaming and crying at the top of your lungs won't get you anything but ignored around here.

And to top it all off... the cable guy was supposed to be here on Thursday and has yet to show up. And you all know how happy being without TV makes me. To say I'm exhausted is an understatement so livable is going to have to be enough.

Sending a big hug your way! **HUGS** If I was in Pang you know I would help you unpack, organize or keep O entertained! Hope your cable guy shows up sooner than later and that you enjoy the rest of the weekend off :)

Sorry to hear things aren't going great...moving is stressful on everyone, so you should give yourself the rest of the weekend off...that may be all Oliver needs, I know my kids don't do well when both Corey and I are busy doing something for a long time. Hope things start to look up and it starts to fell like home real soon.
