The move in pictures

This was the last view of Cape Dorset I'll probably ever get.
Farewell town, we'll miss you.

Oliver did great on the plane. He actually fell asleep pretty much minutes after this picture was taken.

Our little private jet was packed to the gills. We were so lucky to be able to fly on the RCMP plane.

One of the pilots intruments. You can see the little white plane leaving Dorset and heading north to Pang. North-East I guess really.

The first new of our new home out the front window. Notice how the runway goes right through the middle of town.

Flying into Pang would be scary on a windy day. This pic isn't cropped, the mountain is actually that close when you look out the window.

We were greeted by Nick's new co-workers who unloaded our stuff. The pilot was picking up some of Pang's famous fish to take with him.

Talk about service. We were still on the tarmac when the freighter bringing our stuff landed right behind us. Once again, amazing service.

Landing in Pang is always an experience. I've been through there a number of times though unfortunately never got the opportunity to spend time there outside of the airport. Hope you enjoy your new home. Pang is definitely one of the most scenic communities on Baffin Island.

It is sad to leave a place up here and think that you will probably never be there again...not like down south where it probably wouldn't be too expensive to go back, show your kids where you used to live etc. I was sad about that when we left Chester.

That is amazing that the freighter landed right behind you with all your stuff...that IS service!

Wow! What an experience! I would feel like I'm going to crash right into the mountains. lol.

I hope you get a chance in the future to go back to Cape Dorset, since you love that place too.

Nunavut is so special!
