Move update

I finally have information to share about our move to Pang!! Looks like the official moving date is March 17th so it's not going to be long now. I've been procrastinating quite a bit on getting anything ready because I guess without a date it was still a very abstract concept. Now that we have the date and it's only a few weeks away, I still haven't done anything. The first thing is to get the stuff together for the yard sale. I have so much junk I'm hoping to get rid of, I hope it goes well.

We are lucky that we will be getting movers to come and pack everything for us. That's a load off my mind for sure. I do still have to get the essentials packed to take with us on moving day so we have a frying pan, a couple of plates, cutlery etc. to get us through the first few days while we wait for our boxes to be delivered. I can handle that.

The thing I'm dreading the most is the cleaning. I'm not the best housekeeper on the block, I'll be the first to admit that. I will also admit the level of cleanliness that I feel is acceptable for guests is substantially higher than the standards I keep for myself. So since someone is moving into this house after me, and is someone I sort of know already I will need to really scrub the place so I'm not mortified when they get here. I may even treat myself to some help on that front.

So much to think about, so much to do! Let the list making begin.
