On our way home

Today really sucked. Travelling alone (Nick is already back home) with a baby isn't easy on a good day but when you are running late and have to deal with a few other issues at the same time, it's even harder. I have to say though, it's amazing how accommodating people can be when they can tell you're stressed. I was in tears after what seemed like one problem after another and the Avis lady, the Air Canada agent and my fellow passengers did everything they could to get me to where I needed to be. It's days like today that remind you that there are alot of really great people out there and it makes you feel good about the future of our world.

After a bad start Oliver and I have made it to the half way point and will be continuing onto Cape Dorset tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to getting home. It's been a great vacation but it's time. Here's to a better travel experience tomorrow... and to packing much lighter next time.
