I am yet again changing the look of the blog. Why? One: I like to shake things up every so often, I get bored easily. Two: I loved the last incarnation when I first changed it but realised quickly that it was too busy and the pictures where just too small.
So far I'm liking this new look but I'm trying to figure out the details. And by the way... this picture is here stricktly for testing purposes. Well, that and he's super cute!
Oh and just in case you were wondering (and seriously, as if you couldn't tell) Yes, Tank was photoshopped in to the new header. Getting a dog and two kids together for a picture is getting even more diffucult since Isaac is on the move. Thank god for Photoshop.

Looks good! I will never tire of seeing those mountains down Pang fiord.
Thanks Darcy! and I agree with you. Whenever I get one of those 'I hate it here moments' I just look outside. It really never gets old.
Why is there a canon there?
Awesome header photo and I never would have guessed that Tank was photoshopped in. Great job!
Kara I have honestly no idea. It's out on a huge rock without any plaque or information as to why. I've wondered the same thing. I really should ask someone.
I couldn't tell with Tank either! That is until you told me...you should just pretend it's real! lol
I like the template, I can't believe blogger is allowing such large photos! It's more like wordpress now!
You have to manipulate the picture a little on your own end to get it to work. Then you choose the original size option. It took me a quite a few tries to get the size right.
I love the new layout, and the header is amazing--when I first saw it I was like, man how did she get tank and the boys to cooperate long enough for a photo? hehehe
The canon is a left over from the Hudson's Bay Co...it was left/brought off a ship... and was set off when a ship came to town, so everyone knew! Apparently it use to be in front of the Hudson's Bay manager's house...and was set off there...until one manager kept asking the man who was setting it up to add more gun powder--he did, an entire keg of it.. and it was set up and blew out all the windows in the house... I guess after that it was moved to the rock over looking the harbour! (well that was the story from coffee break today!)
:) Sarah
Looks great Morena! And I couldn't tell tank was photo shopped in!
Ryan
Thanks for the history lesson Sarah! I'll have to make sure Kara gets the information.
And thanks everyone for the compliments on the new look.
Oh Ok well a good standard size as so it will fit on most people's computer screen is 500 pixels on it's longest side. If you do that you don't need to worry about dpi or any of that. If you make that photo of Isaac vertical it "would" be too large. It just fits my lap top screen horizontally.
